After taking a flight to New Delhi, the front man of UT Sub-Inspector Harinder Sekhon, who has been allegedly abducted,is planning to fly abroad,Panchkula police has claimed. Sources in the department claimed to have received inputs that Vikram Singh, who has been missing since November 1,has currently gone underground and is planning to fly abroad soon. A resident of Sector 2 in Panchkula,Vikram Singh had accused Harinder Sekhon and his wife of giving him threat calls and of running a money-laundering business. After Vikram went missing on November 1,the police, during investigation, had found that he took a flight to New Delhi from the Chandigarh airport. As a part of the ongoing inquiry that was marked by the Chandigarh police a few weeks ago,Vikram,on November 1,was called by the UT Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to give his version on the allegations he had put in the Punjab and Haryana High Court against the Sekhons. First reported by Chandigarh Newsline,Vikram had moved the High Court seeking police protection from the couple. He accused Harinder Sekhon of running a money lending racket and told the court that the couple were giving him threat calls, the reason being that people who were lent crores of money allegedly belonging to Sekhon through Vikram failed to return the same due to a slump in the market. Vikram alleged that the Sekhons held him responsible for the losses and that he was receiving threat calls from Sekhon and his wife that he (Vikram) would be implicated in false cases. Thereafter, taking cognizance of the controversies surrounding Harinder Sekhon and his wife Paramjit Sekhon, the Chandigarh police had marked an inquiry to investigate on the allegations put against the couple by Vikram,in a petition filed in the High Court. Vikrams son Avi had filed a complaint with the Panchkula police about his father being allegedly abducted. When contacted,Avi was unavailable for comments.
