Satluj Stunners enter final

Holding on their nerves in the final moments paid rich dividends as Satluj Stunners prevailed over APJ Smartians Kharar by 11 runs in the semi-final match of the 6th Satluj Hot Weather Cricket Tournament U-15 held at Satluj Public School on Wednesday. Batting first,Satluj Stunners posted 198 for 6 in 30 overs. Shubjankar top scored with 60 runs. Jaswinder picked up 2 for 33. In reply,APJ Smartians fell short by 11 runs as they could muster only 187 for 9 in 30 overs. Anmol and Karan made identical 36 runs. Vishwas Khatak took 3 for 16 in his team;s victory.

Meanwhile,in another semi-final match,NICS Stallions beat Greenfield Perfectionists by three wickets . Greenfield batted first and amassed 211 in 29.5 overs. Sukhdeep top scored with 50 runs. Satwinder bowled well to return with a rich haul of four wickets. In reply,NICS made 212 for 7 in 29 overs. Sagar blasted an unbeaten 70 to help the team win. Mandeep contributed 42 runs. Sukhdeep took 3 for 53.
