Rohtak health varsity marks foundation day

Haryana Governor and Chancellor of the University of Health Sciences,Rohtak today lauded the achievements of the university on the occasion of its 3rd Foundation day.

Pahadia said the university had set high standards of education and developed newer programs of study and training.

He said that the University was established with the aim of maintaining uniformity in the medical education across the health institutions of the state and it had,no doubt,benefited immensely from the huge infrastructure made available from its parent institution Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS,on which this university has been grounded.

Lauding the dedicated efforts made by the faculty members for the holistic development of the University,Pahadia said that it was just because of their zeal and untiring efforts that PGIMS,Rohtak had been selected for up gradation to AIIMS like institution under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna. The Governor also went around an exhibition put up on this occasion by the University.
