Ravidasias release religious audio CD

Members of the Ravidasia community have released a religious audio CD titled “Satiguru De Banke Chele Akal Da Paath Padawaage” (The disciples of Satguru will show the path of true knowledge). The CD,which was presented by T-Series,has been directed by Baba Kamal of Ravidasia community.

It may be noted that after an attack on the head and deputy head of Dera Ballan in Vienna (Austria) in 2009,in which deputy head Ramanand was shot dead while head Niranjan Das survived bullet injuries,Dera Ballan had announced its separate religion — Ravidasia — and a separate Granth (scripture) — Satguru Amritbani — in 2010. Guru Granth Sahib,the religious book of Sikhism,was shifted from various temples and gurdwaras of the community in the Doaba region.

The very first track of this 10-number CD touches upon the incident of bullets being fired on the Dera Ballan head. Other tracks mention Rabb Sareyaan Da Saanjha (there’s one god),Mission Di Jago etc — all indirect references to the Vienna episode.
