Those who love the Punjabi beats,heres news to please. Well-known composer and DJ Ramji Gulati and singer Narinder Singh Manak have launched a new Punjabi album Dhoor. The album comprises of both hip-hop and desi songs like Jeri Kudi and Jatt Di Bottle. Narinder Singh,popularly known as Manak E,has recently sung the famous song Paisa paisa karti hain in the movie De Dhana Dhan. Born and brought up in Jalandhar,Manak E moved to England where he took some formal lessons in music. I have been trained in classical but my love for Punjabi made me a Punjabi singer, says Manak E,who has got five albums to his credit. On his struggle in the industry,Manak believes that though it is difficult journey,one needs to be persistent and continue the hard work. Ramji Gulati,on the other hand,has been singing since his childhood days and has developed a unique style of music. I love to play with the beats, says Ramji Gulati who feels proud to be a part of the Punjabi music fraternity. Today Bollywood films are incomplete without a Punjabi song. Punjabis have given some of the best hits to Bollywood, says proudly. A major chunk of the music videos for Dhoor have been shot in England and the music has been composed by Dream team.
