Puneet Rana claimed his third gold by claiming the top spot in the 50 meters breast stroke event in the senior boys’ category on the concluding day of the Administrator’s Cup Swimming Tournament which concluded at Sector 23 Swimming Pool on Thursday. He clocked 28.79 seconds. It was his third gold medal after he had won 50 meters freestyle and 100 meters breaststroke event.
In the U-10 boys’ freestyle 100 meters race,Shubab claimed the top spot with a timing of one minute and 43.55 seconds while Yashik Goyal claimed the second spot with the timing of one minute and 44.87 seconds. The third spot went to Divyank Singh who cloaked a timing of one minute and 54.91 seconds. In the girls’ category,Samkiti Jain claimed the top spot with a timing of one minute and 57.81 seconds while Rasha Sharma claimed the second spot with a timing of one minute and 57.99 seconds. Khushnoor Walia claimed the third spot with a timing of two minutes and .96 seconds.
In the U-12 boys’ freestyle event,Tejinder Singh Bains grabbed the top with a timing of one minute and 26.27 seconds while Fatehganj Singh claimed the second spot with a timing of one minute and 29.74 seconds. Nilesh Biswas claimed the third spot with a timing of one minute and 38.28 seconds.
