PU student body holds protest

Students Organization of Panjab University (SOPU) on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the administrative block of Panjab University regarding University’s failure to change the date of the Law entrance test which is to be held on June 9. The entrance test date of PU is clashing with the date of the Law entrance test of Delhi University. SOPU had already submitted the memorandum regarding the same about 20 days ago. The university authorities,however,had committed that the dates would be changed but nothing has been done. Controller of examination has committed today that the decision will be taken by PU authorities tomorrow. “If the authorities fail,we shall go on an indefinite demonstration,” said the agitated lot.
