Prospectus for Class XI available from June 10

The prospectus will be available from six government schools,namely GMSSS-10,19,21,40,46 and GMSSS,Modern Complex,Manimajra. The registration forms are to be submitted by 1pm on June 20 at any one of these six schools. The admission form is to be submitted on the day of counselling, i.e. on July1 and 2,in the school where a seat has been allotted to the candidate.

The registration form can be downloaded from the UT Education Department website (www.chdeducation.gov.in).

The downloaded registration form will be accepted with a cash payment of Rs 100. Candidates can also fill the registration forms on the website and submit the print out of the filled form along with attested copies of certificates in any one of the six schools. This will also be accepted with a cash payment of Rs 100.

Only one registration form is to be filled up by each candidate seeking admission in government schools after listing preference of schools and streams in relevant columns.

Candidates can fill up the codes of 15 government schools and streams in their order of preference.

The candidates can also fill two additional preferences (16 and 17) from government senior secondary schools (non model) near their residence.

These preferences will be considered in case a seat could not be allotted from first 15 preferences.
