The Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) has launched a round-the-clock WhatsApp helpline to streamline the grievance redressal process, and allow consumers to report issues or check complaint status any time.
Arun Kumar Verma, Director, CPDL, announced the new initiative, emphasising the company’s commitment to improving consumer experience. Verma said the WhatsApp helpline will make it easier for citizens to raise complaints and receive timely assistance.
A CPDL official said consumers can simply send a “Hi” message to the 24/7 WhatsApp helpline number – 9240216666.
After a consumer sends a message, they would receive an interactive menu offering various service options.
