Sehgal has won as many as 13 baby contests in the last year and a half,not just in the tricity but at the national level as well. Her latest triumph was at the Panchkula Spring Fest where she bagged the top spot. At her home in Sector 16,she’s at her playful best,scurrying across the room with her toys,pausing in between to say “hello”.

Like all first-time parents,the Sehgals have caught Toshani’s growing up years on camera and documented her wins. “Her aunt is very fond of her and would enter Toshani’s photographs in various contests,” say her mother. In January,Toshani’s photograph bagged the first place on the popular website,www.indiaparenting.com,followed by another win at a contest organised by http://www.kidsandbibs.in in February 2009. “These popular websites troll out annual contests that see thousands of entries from across the country,” pitches in Toshani’s aunt Jyoti Sehgal.

Little Toshani is not oblivious to her success. Quiz her on her baby show titles and the petite girl,dressed in pink,heads straight to a cabinet showcasing all her little trophies and tiaras. “Most children cry at baby shows but Toshani always loves the attention,” says her mother,insisting that they never pushed Toshani to do something against her will.

Clearly fond of the camera,Toshani’s photos bagged the maximum number of views during the All India Baby Calendar Contest. Despite her winning streak,Toshani’s parents haven’t chalked out a future plan. “As long as she’s happy,we’ll support her,” sums up her mom.
