PGI indoor patient attempts suicide

Chandigarh Police has registered a case against an indoor patient who alleged tried to end his life in the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research,,Chandigarh. Police said that 39-year-old labourer Umesh Kumar resident of 529,Vikas Nagar,Mauli Jagran,Chandigarh was admitted in emergency department of PGIMER since March 31 and he tried to end his life on Sunday by jumping from the second story of PGI.
