As many as 1,018 graduates and post-graduates were conferred degrees during the 55th annual convocation of the Post-Graduate Government College for Girls (PGGC),Sector 11,here on Tuesday.

UT Education Secretary V K Singh was the chief guest. In todays competitive world,girls have an edge over boys because of their commitment and perseverance, he said.
