With its eclectic array of products,Priya Jagats new lifestyle store is worth a visit
Gift-hunting in the city has just become easier thanks to the enterprise of restaurateur and entrepreneur Priya Jagat. For a decade now Jagat has rolled out her annual spring celebration Vanity Fair with much success, adding new names to it each year. Now,The Vanity Box,an off-shoot of the exhibition, has formally opened doors in the city, with its array of designer labels, home accessories, furniture, linen, pottery, jewellery, clothes, trinkets and some apparel too. In a way we have handpicked the best of products exhibited at Vanity Fair. All through the year I am flooded with enquires about the bestsellers of the fair. This is an attempt to bring them all under one roof, explains Jagat.
The store offers an exhaustive range of bags too from travel totes to party clutches to beach bags at prices that begin at Rs 350. We also particularly liked the art corner boasting of framed oil paintings in a variety of sizes. We have the popular brand Happily Unmarried and its range of lifestyle accessories, mentioned Jagat,as we browse through funky coasters and stop by a kitschy photo frame designed like an Indian truck by the brand. Theres also an entire rack of aromatherapy knick-knacks by Iris. Go take your pick.
