Now,a minor raped in Yamunanagar

In her statement to the police,as mentioned in the FIR registered at Bilaspur police station,the victim stated that the incident took place when she was on her way back home around 6.30 pm. “Kaku stopped me outside the village and forcibly pulled me inside his car. When I tried to raise an alarm,he stuffed my mouth with my dupatta and started driving towards Sadhaura. He kept on driving till 1.30 am and then I saw Shokat Ali waiting on the road. He too got in the car and they took me to a secluded spot and raped me.”

She added that she had heard the accused speaking among themselves that they were in a jungle at Kot village. “Later,they took me to Palodi village and fled. There I met some Bajoli residents,who were looking for me. I told them the entire incident and they brought me home. I demand that a case be registered against both the accused,” the victim has stated.

Yamunanagar SP Mitesh Jain said,“The two accused then took the girl to nearby fields and raped her. The complaint was lodged by the victim’s family yesterday and the two accused were arrested today.”

When contacted,Bilaspur police station SHO Desraj said: “We have registered a case on the girl’s statement. We have sought her birth certificate from her parents to ascertain her exact age. Both the accused have been arrested.” The victim has also been medically examined.
