No mercy,hang Bhullar,says Bhattal

Leader of Opposition in Punjab,Rajinder Kaur Bhattal on Monday said that the incarcerated Khalistan militant Devider Pal Bhullar should be hanged.

Leader of Opposition in Punjab,Rajinder Kaur Bhattal on Monday said that the incarcerated Khalistan militant Devider Pal Bhullar should be hanged. Her statement is exactly opposite to that of the state party president Capt Amarinder Singh who had been advocating clemency for Bhullar.

The crime committed by the KLF militant is not pardonable and he must get the punishment, Bhattal said at the Ganpati Mahotsav near Jalandhar bypass.

Reacting to Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badals statement that the issue of seeking clemency for Bhullar issue will be taken up in the Assembly for discussion,she said,We should obey the orders of court.

However,she added that these were her personal views,and she will abide by any decision (on Bhullar) which is taken by the Congress party.

Talking about the SGPC elections,Bhattal advocated for the voting rights to Sehajdhari Sikhs. They are firm believers of Guru and have an equal right to vote and serve the Gurdwaras, she added.

Taking on the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal,she said that the ruling party needs to explain the SGPC fund bungling. The bungling done by SGPC is an eye opener for the voters about the mismanagement being done by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and SAD(B) collectively, she added.
