Despite tall claims of having gathered a number of clues to catch the perpetrators of the Rs 1.75-crore robbery in Panch-kula,the police have failed to get any breakthrough in the case.

“We have the close circuit television camera footage and are getting the pictures of the five accused made,” said a senior officer on the condition of anonymity.

Superintendent of Police Sandeep Khirwar said: “A special investigating team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Varinder Singh will be looking into the case. Three inspector-rank officers and five junior officers will be a part of the SIT.”
