With winter in,designer labels are out with new arrivals. Heres what to expect
The best part about fashion is that it changes with every season. New trends bring in new arrivals and reasons for shopaholics and fashionistas to re-stock the wardrobe. In line with the change of season, luxury labels too have launched new arrivals. At Charles and Keith, this winter is all about inspirations. Elements taken from the street of New York City and Los Angeles create a strong layering look. Impeccable, polished and uptown describes the Hollywood icon perfectly. So you have mixes from heather felt to cashmere and high-shine patent taking the outfits a leap further. Another winter theme is The Extravagant Bohemian. The rules are broken with vintage-inspired silks, velvets and even prints. The key hues for this collection are gold with black and bronze with brown. Antique metallic trimmings add a touch of glamour to the lineup. Colour and material contrast runs wild on boots, stilettos and even clutch bags creating an eclectic and aesthetic feel. Elsewhere,Guess has rolled out its mens wear specials as part of the Fall-Winter 2009 lineup. This season, the fashion label has introduced an edgy denim-focused collection that merges the character and individuality of the iconic brand. The collection centers around the Fall 2009 denim line, portraying Guess in a raw, urban manner. On offer are distressed rich leather pieces juxtaposed with destroyed jeans, drilling the rock image that the brands mens wear line has come to be known for. Also on offer are timeless fits of denim jackets, vintage inspired tee shirts, jeans, dresses and blouses.
One look at the Patent Klub collection from the house of Koutons, then parties this winter are all set to become a lot more stylish. The latest collection of party wear shirts for men called Patent Klub is now in stores in shades ranging from blues, greens and greys. But the undisputed party colour for everyone continues to be black and you can now find the perfect black shirt from their Magic of Black range.
Also in this list of all things new is The Body Shop which has done a worlds first! The ethical cosmetics retailer is launching a new Eau de Parfum featuring alcohol made from organic sugarcane sourced from the foothills of the Andes, through a unique community fair trade programme. Love…Etc is a sensuous mix of iconic feminine jasmine, with indulgent notes of vanilla and sandalwood ,especially created by one of the worlds finest noses for The Body Shop,Domique Ropion.
