Neha murder case: Missing phone found

In a significant development in the Neha Ahlawat murder case,the missing cellphone handset of the 22-year-old victim was found to have been sold in colony number-5,two days after the murder.

In a significant development in the Neha Ahlawat murder case,the missing cellphone handset of the 22-year-old victim was found to have been sold in colony number-5,two days after the murder. The police have traced the set to a cellphone shop that purchased it.

With the assistance of the owner of the shop,sketches of suspects are being prepared and would be circulated soon. The police said the shop owner has claimed that the youths who had sold the handset,had visited his shop twice and he could identify them.

The missing mobile set of Neha Ahlawat was recovered from the possession of one Manoj Bhalla of Sector 15.

When asked,he told the police that he had purchased the set from a cellphone shop in colony number-5 of Chandigarh. He had been using it since August 4.

Neha had two cellphones with her at the time of her murder; both were taken away by her killer (s).
