Nandini sails into second round

The later part of the day saw some close matches as the players had to fight their way hard to storm into the second round. It was tough going for Sagrika Singh as she had to fight her way hard to edge out Deepali Sharma with a 8-3 margin. In another close encounter,Mansi Singh ended the challenge of Hanshika with a 8-5 win while Khushbeen Kaur too sailed into the second round with a narrow 8-7 win over Snitabithi Singh. In another first round encounter,Priyanka Khanna emerged as the winner with a 8-5 win over Manya Bajaj while Komaljeet Kaur ended the challenge of Deepshika with a 8-0 margin. In another one-sided encounter,Raahat Mangat emerged as the winner as she defeated Saisha 8-2 to sail into the second round. In a tough encounter,Agrima had to fight her way to carve out a narrow 8-7 win over Nehmat Sandhu to move into the second round. In the penultimate match of the day,Reetinder Kaur emerged triumphant when she registered a 8-3 win over Innayat Sandhu to sail into the second round. The day ended with Harleen Kaur scoring an easy 8-1 win over Reet Malik to advance into the second round.
