Mohali cops will act as goodwill ambassadors,says SSP

Adding that the police play an important role in maintaining law and order,the SSP acknowledged the need to change its image in the eyes of the public.

More than 300 police personnel of different ranks attended the workshop,which was organised for the first time in the district as part of ITFT’s corporate social responsibility.

Executive Director of the college Dr N K Sharma said the police personnel need to keep themselves updated to keep pace with the changing times.

Dr Sharma offered to organise special training programmes on internet usage for police personnel in future.
