Met dept predicts cloudy sky, rain for three days

The city will experience rain over three days, beginning Saturday evening, the weather office has predicted.

The city will experience rain over three days, beginning Saturday evening, the weather office has predicted.

“There will be generally cloudy sky. Rain or thundershowers will occur in various parts of the city from March 14 to 16,” said the Meteorological Department on Friday.

Surender Paul, director of the Meteorological Department, said, “The rainy season is extended this time in the region. There is also a prediction of cloudy days and rain showers on March 22 and 27.’’

On Friday, the maximum temperature was 28.5 degrees Celsius and it was 2 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature recorded was 11.4 degrees Celsius, which was 1 degree below normal.

The next three days will record a dip in the maximum temperature which will fluctuate between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius. However, there will be a slight increase in the night temperature which will be about 12 or 13 degrees.
