Students of SASIIT&R to now study in Canadian Universities

Dr. Glenwood Irons,Director,Brock University,Toronto & Sewalton University,Vancouver on his visit to the Sahibzada Ajit Singh Institute of Information Technology & Research (SASIIT&R),Mohali informed that the students of the institute would have the opportunity to study in the prestigious universities of Canada from the academic year 2010. He added that students who are fluent in the English language will be exempted from the IELTS test for the same. After a thorough inspection of the various facilities being provided by the institute,Dr. Irons expressed that he was overwhelmed with the excellent infrastructure available. Speaking on the occasion,Dr. J. S. Dhaliwal,Chairman,SAS Group said,“This collaboration is another initiative of the institute to provide its students a truly international study atmosphere which will give them a cutting edge over the others.” SASIIT&R has already signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Waiariki Institute of Technology,New Zealand; Bay of Plenty Polytechnic,New Zealand and Plymouth University,New Hampshire,UK. Also present on the occasion were Harpal Singh Dhaliwal,Canada; Dr. Harish Kumari,Director,Business Management; Susheel Narang,Director,Information Technology and R S Sahota,Administrative Officer,SAS Group.
