Man found murdered in Sector-40 park

A 27-Year-old resident of Sector 40 was found stabbed to death on Thursday evening. Ram Sharma was found lying in a pool of blood in a Sector-40 park.

A 27-Year-old resident of Sector 40 was found stabbed to death on Thursday evening. Ram Sharma was found lying in a pool of blood in a Sector-40 park. The victim was allegedly a drug addict. While the accused is yet to be identified,the police have rounded up some suspects.

The police control room received a call from a fruitseller who was passing by the area and noticed the body. The victim was rushed to the Sector-16 Government Multi-Specialty Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

There was a deep cut on the victims hip,which was bleeding profusely. No other injury was found on the body.

Some blood stained bandages were also found near the victims body. The police claimed that the deceased had a notorious past and was in jail for six months after he was arrested in a snatching case. His family had also disowned him a few days ago.

The police said that it is possible that the victim got hurt earlier and was undergoing treatment and when his condition deteriorated,his friends might have dumped him there.

We are working on all possible angles leading to the death of the man. He might have been killed by his fellowmen over some issue, said a police officer. A case of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered in the Sector-39 police station.
