Lucky five leave for Patna to attend Super 30 programme

According to Harpal Singh,chairman,Bhai Jaitajee Foundation,“As many as 539 students had taken the entrance test at Modern School,Patiala. Of these,80 qualified for the second screening test and eight children cleared the rigorous academic competition. However,only five were chosen by Anand Kumar based on their economic background,which the Ramanujan School of mathematics insists upon. This is a good beginning for Punjab as five children have got into the Super 30 in the first year itself.”

Harpal Singh added: “Our target is to ensure that at least ten students of Punjab,of which a large percentage should be from rural schools,are successful next year. Apart from this,we hope that another 15 -20 students make it to the regular programme of RSM. In the coming years,we are looking at establishing a ‘Super 30 Programme’ for Punjab in partnership with Anand Kumar. We also intend to add a strong orientation of value-based education to the Super 30 training programme so that our students live a good life and also help others in time of need.”
