The contest that was held on January 3 at the Sector 10 Government Polytechnic for Women also saw the brawny Sodhi bag the title for ‘Best Physique’. “I like to flaunt my six packs,” the youngster laughs to tell. What most don’t know is that he never really set out to be a model and it was only when everyone started noticing his physical attributes,did Sodhi decide to line up for the competition. “Winning the CIPA Model of the year title has given me a lot of confidence. It’s only now that I am looking at entering the modeling industry,” admits Puneet who was chosen out of 25 contestants from Chandigarh,Punjab,Haryana,Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. “I have always liked working out and maintaining a good body,” shares the youngster who is also a good dancer. “I was part of my college Bhangra team and I also participate in dance competitions as and when,” Puneet sys. But it’s not just all play. The graduate in food technology is now hard at work preparing for his MBA. “I feel it’s very important to be academically sound. Even if I do look at a career in modeling,I am still going to finish my MBA,” you hear him say.

A member of the campus based ‘We Volunteer’ group,Sodhi wants to make a difference in everyday lives. “The group works on little things like switching off lights when not it use,keeping the campus litter-free,visiting the slums for a game of cricket…,” lists out Sodhi who is quick to point out his mantra in life. “You just have one life so it’s important to fulfill all your desires and dreams by enjoying every moment to the fullest,” he sums up to say.
