Advocate Ved Parkash,a practicing lawyer in Sirsa,today alleged that Chatha has appointed his relative Gurvinder Singh as a liasion officer without even considering meritorious candidates for the post. In his application,Parkash sought permission to make Chatha a party to his petition by name.

The Haryana government had advertised for the post in 2009.

Mirchpur: Sons of slain Dalits get job letters

Sons of Tara Chand,the Dalit man who was burnt to death with her physically-challenged daughter by the Jats in Haryana’s Mirchpur village on April 21,were handed over appointment letters by the Hisar Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg at the Hisar Civil Secretariat on Tuesday.

On Monday,another son of Tara Chand joined as a clerk at the DC’s office. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi visited the village and console the affected families.
