The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education,Dharamsala,announced Class XII results for the science group on Tuesday.
By securing 481 out of 500 marks,Vishv Mohan,a student of Government Boys Senior Secondary School,Bilaspur,topped in the state. Anupam Sharma of Minerva Senior Secondary School,Ghumarwin (Bilaspur),with 480 marks,and Uttarhanica of Government Senior Secondary School,Nagran,with 477 marks,stood second and third,respectively.
Others to figure in the top ten are Vishahka Gupta (473),Prashant Guleria (471),Rhijul Sood (470),Kshitij Vashisth (468),Kanika Singh Thakur (467),Sahil Sharma (467),Isha Badhan (464),Arvind Singh Chauhan (464),Yugander Krishan Singh (464),Ritesh Gupta (464),Abhishek Pathania (463) and Kanwar Shivraj Singh (463).
In a statement issued from Dharamsala,board chairman Professor Chaman Lal Gupta said: The percentage of students who passed out of Class XII science stream this year is 70.43 per cent. The number of total students who appeared was 20,165 and 2,451 students got compartment.
