Hosts St Soldier’s School enter semis

Hosts St Soldier’s School,Sector 16 enetred the semi-finals with an eight-wicket win over DC Model School,Sector 7 in the Fourth Wg. Cdr. SS Gyani memorial Cricket Tournament being played at St Soldier’s School,Sector 16 on Monday.

Batting first,DC Model School posted a score of 161 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Chasing the target,St Soldier’s School,Sector 16 reached the target for the loss of two wickets. In another match of the day,CL DAV School,Sector 11 registered a massive 148-run win over.

Batting first,CL DAV School posted a total of 285 runs for the loss of two wickets. In reply,Blue Bird High School,Panchkula could manage a total of 137 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Uday Mariya of CL DAV School was declared as the Man of the Match.
