For the last three days,Himal Gusain’s consistency was the talk of the tournament. The young lad not only maintained lead on all the days but also staked his claim as one of the fastest rising child prodigies from the city.

And on Sunday,as he finished with 7.5 points,Himal not only emerged as the undisputed champion but he had also become winner for the fourth time in the 21st Chandigarh Chess Championship which concluded at St Xavier’s School,Sector 44.
