“The corporation expects that these special offers will attract more tourists to its hotels, thereby boosting revenue. Managers and in-charges of all hotels have been instructed to encourage maximum participation in this offer. However, no discounts will be available at the Tourist Inn in Rewalsar during the Cheshu Festival from March 6 to March 10,” Rajiv Kumar, Managing Director, HPTDC, said.

HPTDC frequently introduces new initiatives to attract tourists. During the monsoon season, special discounts were offered on hotel rooms to encourage bookings. Similarly, in the winter season, 50 out of 56 HPTDC hotels have been offering winter discounts ranging from 20 per cent to 40 per cent since January 3, and this scheme will continue until April 15.
