Health organisation criticises arrest of two doctors

The United Frontal Organisation of Health,strongly crticised the arrest of Dr Mohinder Kaushal and Dr Ajaya Chakravarty today. Dr A P Sanwaria,chairman of the association said that the arrest of the doctor amounts to contempt of court as the Supreme Court has clearly ordered in a case that no such arrest be made without consulting a board constituted for the purpose of determining rash negligence. The members of the association said that they would take up the matter with the senior functionaries of the UT administration. The two doctors were arrested recently for causing death of a two-and-half-year-old child due to a wrong injection.
