In the meeting, Kaushal issued directions to the officials concerned to create a comprehensive skill-development plan for each district so that “more and more dropouts can be equipped with specific skills required in various industries and design training programs that cater to the needs of the local industry.” He also directed officials to launch an awareness campaign to ensure that the maximum number of dropout students can avail the benefits of such skill-training programs.
