Internationally renowned brand in the professional hair industry,Rusk is now in India courtesy Headstart International. Known for creating runway looks for celebrities like Paris Hilton,Heidi Montag,Ed Hardy,Cyndia Rowley,Nancy O’Dell,Shannon Elizabeth and models at the New York and Miami Fashion Weeks,Rusk has tied up with Headmasters,the largest stand-alone salon in Asia,housed in Sector 8 Chandigarh,to roll out a premium hair academy teaching centre covering all aspects of hair and beauty. The Academy will train aspiring students,who want to pursue a career in hairdressing and assist existing salon artists in polishing their skill sets. The institute would cover students from the region of Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

To give a first-hand experience,creative artists from Rusk,USA,Marcus Caillet and Sherri Jessee were in Chandigarh on Saturday. Also part of Rusk USA team was Apeni George,creative director Rusk India. The artists conducted an interactive session and showcased the latest international cuts,colours and styles.
