GMCH conducts test for nurses

The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH),Sector 32 on Sunday conducted a written test for the recruitment of 408 nursing staff. Over12,000 candidates appeared for the test. The hospital authorities claim that it was for the first time that a test of such magnitude was held for the recruitment of nursing staff.

Forty one centres had been established in the schools and colleges of the city. Out of a total of 17466 candidates,12240 candidates appeared for the written test. The faculty of GMCH alongwith ministerial staff acted as observers and assistant observers.
