Punjabi girls Shefali Sharma and Neha Bagga stopped by in Chandigarh to talk about their show,Bani – Ishq Da Kalma on Colors and how it has successfully completed 90 days. The show is based on true stories of young girls from Punjab,who are lured by NRI dreams. “It has not only managed to create an impact but has also received tremendous recognition from audiences across all age-groups and regions,” says Sharma. “The plot focuses on Bani giving up on her dreams and agreeing to marry Parmeet for the sake of her mother,while her sister Rajji is also taking a big step that would change their lives forever,” adds Sharma,who plays Bani. “I am here in my hometown to seek the blessings of my viewers,friends and family,Punjab knows us as Bani and Rajji,which is our identity now,” she adds. Her on-screen and off-screen best friend,Bagga,who portrays the role of Rajji adds,“The story will kick-start a new phase of Bani and Rajji’s lives. From being dutiful daughters,the two will now step into different roles in life.” The show airs Monday to Friday,10:30 pm.
