Among the other constituencies, Dera Baba Nanak recorded 63% turnout, Barnala saw 54%, and Chabbewal registered 53%.The Gidderbaha Assembly bypoll recorded the highest voter turnout at 81%, emerging as the most participative among the four Punjab Vidhan Sabha bypolls held on Wednesday.
Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C stated that an overall voter turnout of 63% was recorded until 6 PM. However, final figures will be confirmed by Thursday morning after all polling parties return to collection centres and data entry is completed.

Sibin C thanked voters for their active participation in the electoral process and praised the efforts of Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Election Officers, Returning Officers, and polling staff for ensuring smooth elections. He also appreciated the role of the Punjab Police, Central Armed Police Forces, and volunteers in maintaining security at polling stations.
He extended gratitude to political parties and candidates for their cooperation and acknowledged the media’s constructive role in supporting the electoral process.
