Pore over the first Indian Action spiritual comics Moksha,the brain-child of Karan Vir Arora of Vimanika Publishing. The beautifully illustrated and written comics launched here today,in both English and Hindi are the chronicles of Lord Hanuman and Lord Parshuram and are in a series format.

The Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi is organizing a six-day street theatre festival of socially relevant plays in three villages of Chandigarh. The festival is based on socially relevant issues such as female foeticide,AIDS,drug abuse,environmental protection etc. The first such festival was organised in Kaimbwala last year and a two-day street theatre festival was organised in front of Manimajra Fort in November 2008. According to Kamal Tewari,there is a lot of theatre activity for the urban audiences,but it’s villagers who need to be reached out not only for entertainment but also to spread the word on issues that affect us. The festival will be on at Kaimbwala,in front of the Government Senior Secondary School (July 18 and 19) and Khuda Lahora (August 1 and 2) at 11 am.
