Stage Effect
In a two-week long theatre workshop college teachers of Chandigarh and Mohali were initiated into the basic techniques of drama,and revealing the architectonics of theatre were none other than veteran theatre director and playwright Davinder Daman along with his film and stage actor wife,Jaswant Daman. Designed and conducted by the two,it was organised in collaboration with Norah Richards Rangmanch at Sarang Lok,Mohali. In course of this exposure,the participants created and produced a short play titled,Talash on the concluding day of the workshop. Pleased with the participation and success of the workshop,Dr Rama Rattan,Programme Director of Sarang Lok proposed to have short-term intensive theatre workshops on a regular basis in future.
