Fiza’s latest: Abuses scribe; city Press Club bans entry

Chandigarh Press Club President Sarabjit Singh Pandher said she used “objectionable words” against the reporter. The officials of the club later announced that Fiza would not be allowed to enter the club’s premises till she apologises for her behaviour.

Earlier during the conference,she said: “Chander Mohan is a rapist and it is because of such politicians that even police refuse to act against criminals. But while I had the courage to fight out,there are several women who cannot. It is for such women that I plan to set up an international organisation.”

In another incident,Fiza got into a heated argument with a senior citizen over a parking row in Sector 46.

While Fiza was entering the parking lot,Sewa Singh,a retired police officer,was driving out in his vehicle. They got stuck as both refused to reverse their respective cars.

A heated argument followed,after which Fiza called the police and a huge crowd gathered. A compromise was reached only after the police intervened.
