Elderly couple murder: Cops constitute five-member SIT

The police on Monday constituted a five-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate into the murder of a septuagenarian couple in Garhshankar late on Saturday night. The move comes after the police failed to make breakthrough in the case. SP (Headquarters) Rajeshwar Singh Sidhu would head the SIT,which has DSPs Harjinder Singh and Manmeet Singh and two SHOs as its members. Sena forces Hindu Kanya College closure
