Education fair attracts hundreds

A number of students and their parents thronged the education fair—Edupoint 2010—which began on Saturday. Prajit Khandelwal,Director,Edupoint,said the event aims to act as platform for students and parents so they can interact and learn about leading universities,colleges and institutions. “We have the best career counsellors and psychologist for the visiting students. It is a time-tested phenomena that a well counselled student is bound to make good future decisions and we want students stepping at our event to carry the same aura,” he said. The fair aims at providing career guidance and counselling by professionals followed by a seminar. It would enable students and parents to compare courses and facilities available with different colleges at the same time and go for an informed choice. Most of those who visited the fair were the ones who have recently passed out class XII. The students discussed the future courses available with the professional present at the fair. The fair aims at help students explore options way beyond regular engineering and medical courses.
