A fine knock of 49 runs by Deepak guided Chandigarh Cricket Association (Affiliated to Haryana Cricket Association) to an emphatic six-wicket win over Rihalz Warriors in a match of the First Friendship Series being organised by Shri Shri Academy played at Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19,on Wednesday.

Rihalz Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first,they posted a total of 119 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 25 overs.

Pardeep Binga was the highest scorer for the team as he played a patient knock of 26 runs off 35 balls. Ravi played a knock of 15 runs for the team.

For CCA,Vivek was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed four wickets for 17 runs,while Yash bagged two wickets for 32 runs.

Chasing an easy target of 120 runs in the allotted 25 overs,CCA reached the target for the loss of four wickets in 18 overs.

Deepak was the main scorer for the winning team as he missed out on a well-deserved half century,while Sagar contributed 14 runs. Pranav scored 13 runs.

For the losing side,Kushpreet claimed one wicket for 27 runs,while Yogesh also took one wicket for 31 runs.
