Decomposed body of 51-yr-old found

The decomposed body of a 51-year-old man was found from near Dhanas on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Chaudhary,a Dhanas resident.

We are awaiting the postmortem report. It doesnt appear to be a case of murder. We suspect suicide, said Station House officer (SHO) Sukhbir Rana of Police Station,Sector 11,Chandigarh.

Ramesh was working as an executive manager in Eicher Motors at Parwanoo and had left for Parwanoo at 10 am on August 11,after which he never returned home.

Chaudharys family members got suspicious when they learnt that he had not reached Parwanoo. Moreover,his phone was also switched off. said Rana.

Police also recovered a bottle of insecticide from the spot where the decomposed body was recovered. Survived by two daughters and a son,Chaudhary was reportedly under depression for the past few days.
