Day 2: Ten high security number plates installed

High Security Registration Number Plates (HSRNPs) were fixed on around 10 vehicles at the office of the Registering and Licensing Authority in Sector 42 on Tuesday,the second day of the new system.

Of the two vendors in Chandigarh,Utsav Safety System Private Limited has started installing the number plates while the process will be started by Celex Technologies Private Limited in the next two to three days .

Some of the vehicle owners had applied for these number plates on Monday when the plates were launched.

The High Security Registration Number Plate system has generated tremendous enthusiasm in the UT.
