Cyril helps CISF score a thrilling win

Cyril Ekka pumped in as many as seven goals to help CISF register a thrilling 9-8 win over IAF in the seventh edition of Olympian Dharam Singh Memorial Six -A-Side Hockey Tournament held at Sector 18 Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

With the match starting on a perfect note,both the teams surged ahead and tried to score goals. Cyril Ekka was the man on target as he scored at regular intervals to keep CISF on top. Apart from Ekka,it was Bharat and Munda who scored goals for CISF. Sanawar Ali and Balbir Singh scored hat-tricks for IAF while Devinder netted a brace.

Meanwhile,in another high scoring match of the day,Rock Rovers outclassed IOC by 12-7 to move ahead. Devinder Kumar scored six goals for Rock Rovers. He was followed by Gaurav Tokhi (3),Gurdep (2) and Jitender(1). For IOC,Rahpal Singh was the chief scorer with five goals. Amanpreet Singh and Sandeep Singh contributed one goal each.
