PM Narendra Modi Saturday said stability is a far-fetched thing for the Congress because of its infighting and now everyone in the party is jostling among themselves to become CM in Haryana. Even “Bapu” (Bhupinder Singh Hooda) and “Beta” (Deepender Hooda) are the contenders and they are trying to fix the rest.

At a rally in Hisar, the PM asked, “How can a party that cannot bring unity among its leaders bring stability in a state. You can see how they are jostling to become CM. Bapu is also a contender and beta is also a contender. Together, they are trying to fix the rest. And seeing this, voters are fixing Congress.”

Alleging that Congress is ignoring interests of Dalits and OBCs, Modi said, “In this groupism, the doors are closed for Dalits and backward in Congress. The Congress knows that Dalit doesn’t give it votes and that’s why it hates the entire Dalit community. You see yourself, during the regime of Congress, the atrocities were committed on Dalits in Gohana and Congress remained silent. The royal family of Congress… said in America, ‘they will end reservation for Dalits and backwards’.”

“Congress always saw farmers as a vote bank… the truth is Congress is the enemy of farmers. It (Congress) can speak only lies. Here, Congress spoke lies on MSP too. The truth is the BJP government is purchasing 24 crops on MSP while in Congress-ruled states, only 1-2 crops are purchased on MSP. Tell me, can our farmers trust such a cheater? Haryana has faith on BJP only,” he said.
