Housing society members demand rationalisation of property tax

Members of the Joint Action Committee of Co-Operative Group Housing Societies at Sector 20 Panchkula on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda against the imposition of irrational property tax. This tax is 900 per cent more than that on independent plot house owners,said the members of the committee and demanded that the rates of the property tax be rationalised. ENS
