A day after Chandigarh Police’s Economic Offences Wing booked retired Colonel AD Singh on charges of cheating his sister by allegedly withdrawing Rs 2.25 lakh using his father’s ATM card from the joint account of his sister and father; Col Singh had pleaded innocence. Col Singh also moved local court seeking the court’s intervention against his arrest. The court has ordered a three-day stay on his arrest. Students dies in road accident
Ambala: Ambala Cantonment GMN College student Kosh Vaid died when he was hit by a car while driving his bike near Durgapur on Ambala- Ballana road today. He was returning to his village when the accident occurred. Sarpanch Vinod Kumar,who was riding pillion was injured. In another accident,Vijay Kumar resident of R K Puram Jammu was injured seriously on the NH 1. He was referred to PGI in Chandigarh.

PUSU seeks release of hostel seats’ list
