Chandrika’s knock paves way for Ryan’s triumph

Buoyed by Chandrika’s blazing knock of 58 runs,Ryan International School,Sector 49,Chandigarh recorded 45-run win over Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School 32 Chandigarh during the State Cricket Women Under-19 Tournament for Pandit Kedarnath Trophy organised by Chandigarh Women’s Cricket Association at Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School Sector 32,Chandigarh,on Friday.

Batting first,Ryan School posted a huge total of 182 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Chandrika (58) played a confident knock for her team. She was ably supported by Mavir who scored a useful 38. In reply,Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School 32 Chandigarh could muster only 137 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Gumeet played an unbeaten knock of 22 runs for the losing side. In another match,I.S.Dev Samaj Club Sector 21 Chandigarh thrashed Swami Ram Tirath club Sector 24,Chandigarh by 9 wickets.
