CGC University Mohali creates placement history with Rs 1 crore package; average touches Rs 6.85L

The highlight of the placement day was the highest-ever annual package of Rs 1 crore. This represents an increase of over 105 per cent from the Rs 53 lakh top package in 2024, underlining the university’s sustained focus on employability, skill development and professional excellence. The average annual package for the batch of 2026 stood at Rs 6.85 lakh, improving from Rs 6.65 lakh in 2025 and Rs 6.2 lakh in 2024.

Renowned multinational companies, including Capgemini, ServiceNow, Coforge, Nokia, WNS and Afsos were among the leading recruiters. The students received lucrative offers across high-growth domains such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, business analytics, fintech and advanced engineering.

Outstanding students were specially honoured for academic excellence, leadership and professional competence, reaffirming the university’s commitment to nurturing future-ready leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Founder Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal said that education is not limited to securing jobs but is about character building, skill enhancement and empowering youth to lead with integrity.
